Hello everyone — it’s Angel Young, founder and owner of Humboldt Clothing Company.
After nearly 25 years at the Bayshore Mall in Eureka, California, I’m announcing that our brick-and-mortar store is closing. This is the end of an era — but also the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our Northern California lifestyle brand.
I started Humboldt Clothing Company with just $500 and a small kiosk inside the Bayshore Mall. What began as a small dream quickly grew into Humboldt County’s favorite clothing brand — a reflection of our local culture, independence, and the beauty of the true Northern California coast, where the redwoods meet the ocean and nature’s magic surrounds us.
As a woman-owned business, I’m so proud of how far we’ve come. Over the years, we’ve built more than a brand — we’ve built a community that shares the Humboldt vibe and lives the Humboldt lifestyle. Now, we’re ready to take that energy even further and spread it to fans all over the world.

While our physical store will close, Humboldt Clothing Company will continue online right here on this website.
Our online store makes it easier than ever to shop your favorite Humboldt styles, discover exclusive new designs, and stay connected through our email list. Fans from anywhere can now represent Humboldt pride — whether you’re local, a Humboldt State alum, or simply someone who loves the Northern California way of life.

Operating a brick-and-mortar clothing store in today’s economy — especially in a small community like Humboldt County — has become increasingly challenging.
In late 2024, we closed our Arcata location to simplify operations. This next step helps us stay focused on what matters most:
